lyrics

ROAD LIGHTS
cities are made of dreams and fears, we have to fly high and to hide the tears. we need to be strong and stand when wind blows, we have to take care of our own we have to take care of our own. city throbs like an excited heart, I can feel the beating and it’s going so fast and we are so small while we go with the flow, feeling we are not alone, we don’t want to be alone. as electric lights on the lead colored mist as decorations on a lonely Christmas tree so we are alive like blood in arteries there’s no time to sleep and we are awake like aerials we live the night running through the road lights. tonight I’m safer in my friend’s car, driving through the road lights we are going to nowhere or lost in the snow, we’ve never taken care of our own we’ve never taken care of our own. as electric lights on the lead colored mist as decorations on a lonely Christmas tree so we are alive like blood in arteries there’s no time to sleep and we are awake like aerials one thing in my mind seems perfectly clear we’ve been wasting time and time has wasted our best years. in the blink of an eye we have disappeared. when the dawn is coming near we are just made of dreams and fears
